Saturday, September 15, 2007 at approximately 8:20 a.m. I arrived at Gatwick Airport having left Jamaica on BA2262. The flight was ok but the airport experience was something else. I have never seen a queue that long in my entire life.
I was picked up by my brothers-in-law Sly and Wayne. I was meeting Wayne for the first time. We had breakfast at the Garfunkel and naturally I had a typical English breakfast - eggs, hashbrown and ham.
They took me to see Brixton market in order to get a phone deal but guess what my Bmobile worked with a Tmobile chip so I got me a cell phone. You can get just about anything in the market from condensed milk to bigga sodas!!
We went on a little sightseeing - Hyde Park, Picadilly, Trafalgar Square, the Parliament etc.
I think I will love this place and I have one year in which to do so.

while you are at it remember you must go th France to perfect you kiss... for Andrew sake of course... to Germany to get a taste of good beer... and to Holland to see what freedom and tolerance is all about.
Kerrith u r something else!!
Hi Ann. I can see that you are having a wonderful time. I share your joy. I met Ben Laden last week and he told me he was looking out for Jamaicans with our crime rate and all. I told him about you and how worried I was about your safety. He told that there is no need to worry as he will be making sure that you are not harmed. All he said that you need to do is to stay inside. I told him that this was not possible and he told me that this is his only term. You must recognized how disappointed I was as I wanted to see all those pictures of europe. I suggest therefore that when you have to go out please look out for the turban and take all the pictures you can and blog them please. please be careful and continue to enjoy the trip as well as the study. PS Hope you got your USB cable.
